July is right around the corner and just like that half of the year has already flown by. Before you know it we will be bringing out the holiday décor. But before that happens there are few things to note going on in the Sulphur Springs Area.
First off is the Symphony on the Square with the fireworks show, on Saturday, July 2. This is a not to miss event. The square fills with lawn chairs and blankets while everyone takes in the concert and then the fireworks, shoot off behind the courthouse. This event is American to its, core. The patriotism, small town feel and just overall connection each person makes, by attending such an amazing event. You won't want to miss!
Also on July 2, Slaughter's Barbeque Oasis is ringing in the holiday with by smoking a whole hog. Free beer, live music and great food. Who could as for more.
Of course every Friday night the city host a free movie on the square. Bring the kids to this family, friendly event to see what is on the screen next.
Celebration market is in full swing, Saturday nights on the square. Be sure to stick around and listen to the great musical talent they have lined up to perform. Plus all the great vendors who frequent the Market are sure to have something you won't want to leave without.
